LOVING LATELY: GOLD JEWELRY

As part of the blog’s rebrand, I’m also going to be introducing some new blog post series, starting with a “Loving Lately” series. The Loving Lately series will cover anything from interiors to recipes to product finds to fashion – whatever I’m loving lately!

I’ve always been a jewelry person, and my taste in jewelry has fluctuated over the years, but for the last several years I’ve been a gold jewelry person. I’m currently in my hoop earring era, but I’m also still loving statement earrings and delicate necklaces. I’ve picked up some great (and affordable!) pieces over the past couple of years, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite gold jewelry here. Keep reading for a peek at some of the gold jewelry I’ve been loving lately!

1. Chain Drop Huggie Hoop Earrings – I bought these earrings this winter after Julia from Chris Loves Julia recommended them, and now I wear them almost daily! They’re the perfect size, and the chain makes them feel special and unique. I love to wear these with a pair of plain huggie hoops in my second holes!

2. Hammered Crescent Bar Necklace – I’ve been wearing this necklace on repeat ever since I bought it this winter! I love how dainty it is and it’s the perfect length for me. This is the ideal necklace for sweaters or tops with a higher neckline and a staple accessory year-round for me.

3. Petite Rainbow Studs – I discovered Oceanne when one of my friends shared them on Instagram a while back, so when I was looking for some new gold studs I decided to check them out. These little rainbow studs bring me so much joy! They’re so cute and the quality is great. I’ve had these studs for several years now and they’ve held up great! If I’m just throwing on a tank or sweater and want a simple earring to pair with it, these are one of my go-to studs.

4. Succulent Earrings – These earrings are forever my go-to for when I want something that’s a little fancier than a hoop but not quite a statement earring.

5. Gold Chunky Hoops – As mentioned above, I have officially entered my hoop earrings era and I’m loving it. I’m embarrassed to admit how many hoops I’ve bought over the last six months, but this pair is one of my favorites. They’re big enough to make more of a statement than a huggie hoop without being over the top and they’re super lightweight – and the price point is amazing!

6. Gold Chain Necklace – I was influenced to buy this necklace by my best friend aka my own personal influencer, who has it and wears it often. It’s simple but less delicate than my other go-to necklaces, so I love wearing this one with some hoops to dress up a more casual top like my favorite ribbed high-neck tank from Target.

7. Presleigh Love Knot Stud Earrings – My favorite studs to wear for a look that’s a little more elevated! These earrings are perfect for when I want a look that’s simple but refined. They’re great on their own or paired with some huggie hoops for added oomph!

8. Flat Geometric Brass Earrings – These have been my go-to simple statement earring for several years now – I actually love them so much that when my first pair started to tarnish after a few years, I bought a new pair (at less than $10 per pair, the cost per wear is pennies at this point). These earrings make me feel artsy and are the perfect addition to any outfit that needs a little something extra.

9. Wildflowers Necklace – This is possibly my favorite necklace I’ve ever owned. I’m a longtime GLDN fan, and this is my favorite piece from them. I have the 19-21 inch length and it’s perfect for pairing with any neckline. I love how delicate and simple this necklace is – it truly goes with everything!

10. Gold Leaf Statement Earrings – The perfect feminine statement earring to dress an outfit up! I picked mine up at a boutique in downtown Frederick, but I found this similar pair on Etsy. I just love how these make any outfit feel dressier, and they make a statement without weighing my ears down too much. These are the perfect pair of earrings to throw on with a black jumpsuit to look instantly put together!
